I don’t know what it is but logging in to Pinterest is never a pleasant experience for me. Which is why I don’t use it. Which is why I forget it exists. Like the nonsense with USB hardware where you’re flipping the thing around back and forth only for it to not fit either way. Like trying to unlock a door but the key doesn’t turn the lock over. I don’t have energy for resetting login info every time or USB x iMac foreplay or to go down to the front desk for someone to help me get in. All that said, I really do enjoy when I log in. It’s like a time capsule full of gems I forgot I had. Sure would be nice to share this stuff. Oh wait, there’s an error for that 😑.
This summer I had the opportunity to live in the future for a weekend when I participated in a Virtual Reality-based hackathon at NYU.

And that’s all I wrote. It was a very cool experience I never wrote about. I was really impressed with our team’s enthusiasm towards the design challenges to develop a compelling concept fairly quickly. Fortunately Carolyn wrote about the project in a medium post which I direct you to now: https://medium.com/verbal-plus-visual/designing-for-not-you-d4ee10c8be79
I know when I’m trying to make something work that really doesn’t fit and this is one of those times. I like the idea but it’s not working. Onto the blog it go.
